Our Magical Elf and Fairy Day!

We have had so much fun today! We all looked fantastic in our costumes, thank you to our grown ups for helping us look so good. We sang in the Christmas singing assembly, painted fairy and elf pictures, decorated our salt dough Christmas decoration, learnt a beautiful fairy dance and even turned ourselves into elves! Here are some photos and videos…

Our Christmas Sing along!

Thank you to parents, grandparents and friends who came to watch our Christmas sing along this morning. We had a great time and we hope you enjoyed it too! We’re going to sing a few of our songs to the whole school during tomorrow’s assembly.

We were proud of our homemade hats!

Here are some photos and videos of the performance:

We decided to do an extra performance of Camel Funk for you to enjoy at home!

Caught on CCTV!

On Friday we arrived at school to find Eddie the elf sitting on top of the playground CCTV camera, holding a present!

We checked the CCTV and couldn’t believe our eyes!

Check out our brilliant writing, too!

Caught on CCTV!

This morning we came into class to find a bit of a muddy mess on the carpet!

We checked the footage from our homemade CCTV cameras and saw that the classroom cameras had caught something hilarious!

We did some super writing, using ‘and’, -ed endings and exclamation marks.

Eddie the elf!

We have a new visitor at school! Eddie the elf arrived yesterday with a letter explaining that the school CCTV cameras are broken and challenging us to make our own. We followed the instructions, made the cameras and put them around school.

We can’t wait to check the footage tomorrow…

Our Tatton Park Trip!

We have had a fabulous day at Tatton Park, despite the cold weather! First we visited the farm, where we listened to a lovely Christmas story and saw lots of different farm animals including cows, sheep, goats, chickens, horses and pigs with their piglets! We even saw two of Santa’s reindeer! Next, we were lucky enough to visit Father Christmas himself! We all told him what we would like for Christmas and he very kindly gave us all a gift. After lunch we walked over to the Roald Dahl Christmas Mansion, where we saw some amazing Christmas scenes from some of Roald Dahl’s best books – Matilda, The Twits, The Witches, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and many more.

All the children were very well behaved and we would like to say a big “thank you” to our parent helpers. We hope you enjoy the photos from our day!
